Teamer www.teamer.co.nz, today announced the launch of its FREE to use website in New Zealand that enables sports team captains/coaches/managers to save valuable time and resources by automating a range of previously time consuming and expensive tasks. Whether it’s organizing a match, a practice session, or sports social activity, Teamer is the new way to quickly and easily coordinate and manage player availability.

Teamer.co.nz is a FREE to use service which greatly eases the administrative and financial burden placed on those who are in charge of sports teams. It allows team organisers to communicate directly with team players with a single click of the mouse, sending out match details to all players via both email and free text message. Using Teamer’s “closed loop” technology, replies from players whether by email or text are collated on the team page for the captain to view at a glance. So now, with Teamer, it is possible to reach all of your team members, at any time, no matter where they are.

Teamer also has a unique “auto call up” feature, which allows team managers to select replacement options in advance, so if an original selection is unavailable, the Teamer “auto call up” feature will automatically email and text the selected replacement for that position.

Using the Teamer.co.nz platform, team captains/coaches/managers establish private online team pages for their own teams, from which they can communicate directly with players. The private community network also provides an opportunity to upload photos, post match reports and incorporates a private team blog and chat room for all the players.

“Teamer was established by sports enthusiasts for sports enthusiasts. We have all managed teams ranging from junior football to senior cricket. We have all been the team captain that has spent a lot of time and money aimlessly chasing down players to establish their match day availability. We wanted to make it easier for the sporting community to organize their sports team activity,” said Patrick Maguire, Director of operations in New Zealand.

Over 500, 000 sports players are now using teamer based in the UK and Australia. Teamer is now fully up and running in New Zealand with a great response so far including over 1000 sports players signing up last week.
