Sanford Limited applies for clearance to acquire the Pacific Seafoods Group

The Commerce Commission has received an application from Sanford Limited seeking clearance to acquire the Pacifica Seafoods Group of companies.

Sanford Limited is a publicly listed company based in Auckland. It is active in the aquaculture industry and, in particular, the farming, processing and selling of mussels, salmon and oysters.

The Pacifica Seafoods Group of companies primarily supplies mussels although it also has some salmon and oyster operations. These companies are all subsidiaries of Skeggs Group Limited.
