Fonterra welcomes DIRA announcement

Fonterra has welcomed the announcement today by the Agriculture Minister, David Carter, that the Government will be reviewing the Raw Milk Regulations part of the Dairy Industry Restructuring Act (DIRA) – and in particular the criteria around eligibility for raw milk supply.

Fonterra Chief Executive, Andrew Ferrier, says: “The dairy industry has moved on since the regulations were put in place ten years ago, and we are looking forward to participating in the review.”
