WELLINGTON CITY

If it involves wheels, you'll be sure to find it at 'Freewheeling in Wellington' - a celebration of all things that spin!

The three-month-long programme will be launched this Saturday (23 October) at Civic Square from 11.00am to 2.00pm. There'll be a bike maintenance session, a bike skills session, the chance to have a go at roller blading and live music, and you can also meet the Richter City Roller Derby team. Just bring your own set of wheels.

'Freewheeling in Wellington' includes events and activities designed to get you and your friends and family on a set of wheels this summer.

Sharpen your skills on a skateboard, have a go at rollerskating, attend a cycling fashion parade or get stuck into a roller derby. You can join in on one of the many bike rides taking place around the city or learn how to keep your ride in top shape at our maintenance workshops.
