Strobe lights can take a pounding in busy industrial environments as well
as harsh outdoor localities, so lighting specialist NARVA has come up with
the ‘Pulse’.

Just released in New Zealand, ‘Pulse’ is a range of high output strobe lights that
combine the durability and performance of latest L.E.D technology in a stylish and
tasteful package.

Designed to suit a broad range of applications, from harsh mining and construction sites
to transport depots and local authority vehicles, the new ‘Pulse’ strobes have been made
to stand the test of time.

Their construction from premium materials such as the polycarbonate lens, die-cast
powder coated aluminium base and solid state L.E.D circuitry makes them resistant
to severe shock and vibration and each lamp is supported by a 5-year NARVA L.E.D
warranty. An ‘O’-ring seal is fitted between the polycarbonate lens and the die-cast
base to provide protection against the ingress of dust and water and an internal heat
sink effectively dissipates heat from the high output L.E.D bulbs, allowing maximum
brightness and performance.

The ‘Pulse’ range of strobes is unique to the NARVA range due to the 360° rotating
flash patterns, essentially simulating the performance of a rotating beacon yet with
all the benefits of L.E.D technology. Eight specific light patterns are built into these
strobes, including three different rotator patterns, each designed for various applications.
These light patterns can be selected wirelessly with the use of a magnetic tool held
momentarily on the top centre of the lamp or by touching the wires in the traditional
method.

The NARVA ‘Pulse’ strobes have been tested and approved to the U.S Class 1
rating, a universal benchmark for L.E.D strobe lamp performance. The high output
L.E.D’s provide dual 12 / 24-Volt operation with low current draw and up to 100,000
hours lifespan. Twelve supplementary L.E.D’s in the top of the lamp provide all-round
illumination.

Flange base models within the ‘Pulse’ range offer synchronised operation, with as many
units as the application requires or alternating flash sequence where two or more units
are used.

NARVA ‘Pulse’ Strobe Lamps come in three configurations of flange, pole and magnetic
mount to suit a wide variety of users in New Zealand and are now available from leading
automotive accessory outlets throughout New Zealand.
