HMNZS Canterbury in Wellington

The Royal New Zealand Navy’s newest ship, the Multi Role Vessel HMNZS CANTERBURY, is arriving in Wellington on Thursday 13 September, and staying until Tuesday 18 September.

CANTERBURY will be berthed at Queen’s Wharf, and will be open to the public from 0900 to 1100 on Friday 14 September, when people will get the chance to tour the 9000 tonne ship and talk to the sailors and officers onboard about life in the Navy.
