Charlie's Mascots deliver the juice
Auckland CBD workers can now Facebook their way to free Charlie’s drinks next week.
From Monday (Dec. 13) Charlie’s is dispatching a team of fruity mascots on to the streets to deliver free bottles of its Old-fashioned Honest Quenchers to thirsty workers.

Charlie’s co-founder, former All Black and all round larrikin Marc Ellis is on the streets next week helping the giant fruit quench Auckland’s thirsts.
Ellis is best known for his distinguished rugby career, successful TV series and other, more interesting pursuits, such as founding World Nude Day, winning international cheese rolling competitions and blowing up a volcano.

“Originally we thought about delivering our Honest Fruity Drinks in the nude, but last time we did that no one took any notice - and our marketing manager was accosted by a police dog,” Ellis says.
“So this time we’re sending out a giant Charlie’s bottle and a Lemon to deliver Charlie’s Honest Refreshing Goodness to the overworked and rundown in Auckland’s CBD. It’s all about some fruity festive fun.”
All Charlie's juices, quenchers and smoothies are made from not-from-concentrate fruit juice, with no preservatives or anything artificial - ever.
“It’s honest and is how real fruit drinks should be – squeezed, pressed, mashed or crushed fruit with nothing artificial,” Ellis says. “Drinking fruit drinks should be an easy way to get your recommended daily intake of fruit because, let's face it, we all get a little slack about that."
