Asics to sponsor Athletics New Zealand Grand Prix Series

Athletics New Zealand is pleased to announce that Asics will be the sponsor for the Athletics New Zealand Track & Field Grand Prix Series to be conducted in January through to March 2011. The sponsorship will provide prizes across all event groups for the Grand Prix.

 In announcing the sponsorship, Athletics New Zealand’s Sport Manager Brett Addison said "Asics have recently come on board as our official apparel supplier and are outfitting all our national teams. It’s exciting that they wish to broaden their support for Athletics New Zealand.”

 Asics New Zealand Marketing Manager, Jenny Christian said “Asics are thrilled to be extending their support for Athletics New Zealand by partnering with them for the Grand Prix series."

 The goals for the seven event series are to provide quality competition in addition to encouraging high performance levels and promotion of the Classic meetings.
