Blackcaps Named For Friday's HRV Cup

The Yahoo!Xtra Northern Knights have named a powerful squad for the HRV Cup round five clash against the Canterbury Wizards at Seddon Park, with the Knights bringing in returning BLACKCAPS Scott Styris and Tim Southee.

That's in addition to star overseas signing Herschelle Gibbs, who will make his Knights debut in Friday's match and be batting alongside Australia's explosive David Warner, who joined the side in Oamaru last week.

Making way for the influx is BJ Watling, Joseph Yovich and Kane Williamson while Daniel Vettori was not available for selection. The match begins at 6pm on Friday in Hamilton and the playing XI will be chosen from:
