BLACKCAPS review being lead by Justin Vaughan

New Zealand Cricket have started a review of the recent BLACKCAPS tour of India.

The process is being lead by New Zealand Cricket Chief Executive Justin Vaughan and involves meetings and consultation with team management, senior players and new cricket committee.

“We kicked off the review when the BLACKCAPS arrived back in New Zealand and this is an ongoing process that it is likely to take around a week to complete,” said Justin Vaughan. 

“New Zealand Cricket is committed to creating an environment where the BLACKCAPS can succeed and to do that we need to have a robust review process.

“A range of matters will be discussed relating to team performance, leading to recommendations for consideration by the New Zealand Cricket Board.”

Relevant announcements and media opportunities will be communicated at the conclusion of the review process.
