Knights Call In Cover For BJ Watling

Anton Devcich is on his way to Invercargill to join the Yahoo!Xtra Northern Knights one-day side as cover for batsman BJ Watling. The Knights' next match is tomorrow against the Otago Volts in the city, with the Knights needing to win to stay top of the table.

Watling has a stiff back and is undergoing treatment with the aim to have him right for the match.

Devcich, part of the Knights' HRV Cup campaign earlier in the summer, comes into the side after a very good hundred in a match between Hamilton and Northland. He also bowls left arm orthodox spin.
