Brook Hatwell Joins Yahoo!Xtra Northern Knights For Crucial Clash

A long-serving Hamilton cricketer who has performed at both Hawke Cup and Northern Districts A level has been rewarded for strong performances over the past few seasons with a call-up into the Yahoo!Xtra Northern Knights for tomorrow's match against the Wellington Firebirds.

Hatwell, 27, also played for the New Zealand Under 19s and will replace Kane Williamson, who has returned to the BLACKCAPS for ODI duty today.

The remainder of the team remains unchanged from the squad that tied with the Volts in Whangarei, with Daniel Flynn still recovering from a groin injury.

After the dramatic tie with the Volts, the Yahoo!Xtra Northern Knights remain in the top four sides on the points table, well positioned with the race now on in the last two rounds to confirm the home semi-finalists.
