School holiday parking promotion takes off at Auckland Airport

To coincide with the school holidays, Auckland Airport has launched two new car parking offers, which will be promoted until the end of October.

Retail commercial manager Paul Divers says, “Recent research has told us that travellers are always seeking good value for money when it comes to car parking, so we created a couple of special parking offers.”

The first is a promotion for long-stay parking, with an emphasis on the new lower rate of $79 for seven days of uncovered parking. “Since August, the price for long-stay parking of seven or more days has been reduced, so the new lower price of parking for one week makes it a more affordable option, especially for families heading away for the school holidays,” Paul says.

The second option caters for the growing number of Aucklanders who travel around New Zealand for the weekend and are looking for a convenient car park right at the domestic terminal. A special capped rate of $48 for up to three days means travellers can head away for a long weekend and know their parking costs are set.

“The $48 weekend parking special at the domestic terminal is of particular value, given it includes parking on the top two floors of the multi-level car park that has covered pedestrian access straight to the domestic terminal.” The domestic terminal parking special is available every weekend until the end of October.
