With Federated Farmers ‘Farmy Army’ swelling in numbers, it is now in a position to go looking for work that needs to be attended to around Christchurch.

“Federated Farmers ‘Farmy Army’ needs good homes and schools to help,” says John Hartnell, Federated Farmers earthquake spokesperson.

“We’ve got a lot of reinforcements coming into Christchurch from all over New Zealand and we’re now helping schools affected by the earthquake.

Federated Farmers wishes to hear from residential property owners, local businesses and schools, which need help with:

§ Clearing liquefaction

§ Removal of carpets

§ Lifting of furniture
