The SUBWAY® Pro Cycling Team is in action at both ends of New Zealand over the next few days.

Tom Hubbard, Matt Gorter and Nick Lovegrove line up in the four day BDO Tour of Northland that starts today and Jason Allen, Sam Horgan and Dillon Bennett race in this weekend’s R & R Tour in Dunedin.

The SUBWAY® Pro Cycling Team’s Manager Hayden Godfrey said it was good to have the team racing throughout the country and he has high hopes of success in both events.

“Jason is going really well and the tour in Dunedin is fairly flat this year so he has a good chance of taking out overall honours.”

Godfrey thought Horgan would also be in the mix and would be “in with a chance should the opportunity present itself.”

Looking further north Godfrey said Lovegrove is coming into some good form and has the experience of doing the Northland Tour before.

“Tom is looking to impress after a slow start to the season and Matt is getting better every race he does after his season ended early last year due to glandular fever.”

Godfrey stressed that both tours both are very important for riders wanting selection in the SUBWAY® Pro Cycling Team for the Tour de Korea, a UCI Asia event in late April.
