New Zealand e-learning company Intuto is offering Christchurch businesses and staff affected by the recent earthquake free access to online business IT training.

The training modules are ideal for anyone needing to learn or upskill in critical computer and Internet skills and develop competency in Microsoft business software.

Richard Warren, CEO of Intuto, says in a time when many staff are multitasking and carrying out duties they might not normally be familiar with the Intuto learning system can be an invaluable tool to help bring them up to speed quickly and thoroughly.

“We understand computer literacy is not a core competency for every employee and with everyone pulling together to get businesses back on track in Canterbury, some staff will be required to undertake computer operations they’re not necessarily comfortable with.

“Given the disruption to their business, owners will need their operations running as smoothly and efficiently as possible and we are happy to be able to help provide the tools to support them,”

Intuto is also offering support to any affected language schools currently absorbing additional students with their Vital English online training.

“These schools may value the additional programmes we can offer in English Language acquisition to balance student need against available resources,” says Warren.

Interested businesses, schools or individuals should call Intuto directly (09 970 3270) to see what is available and how the Intuto team can support them.
