Success for Colenso BBDO /AIM Proximity at John Caples International Awards

Colenso BBDO and AIM Proximity have scooped eight awards at the John Caples International Awards held in New York on 24 March to honour the very best in direct and interactive marketing around the world.

Colenso BBDO's "Real Stories" campaign for TVNZ's The Pacific featured strongly, picking up four awards including a gold in the Launch Campaign category and three silvers in the Integrated, Out Of Home and Print Collateral categories. The "Real Stories" campaign featured actual letters sent home from soldiers during World War Two and culminated in an aerial dogfight over Auckland's Mission Bay. The results were impressive with 24% of New Zealanders tuning in to the first episode.

"Yellow Chocolate" (a Colenso BBDO, AIM Proximity collaboration) also continued its strong award run picking up two silvers in the Integrated and Print Collateral, Non-Mail categories.

Nick Worthington, Executive Creative Director of Colenso BBDO and AIM Proximity said, "The Caples are one of the top international award shows for direct and digital marketing and are a pretty big deal. It was great to once again see the work coming out of New Zealand performing well on the world stage."

AIM Proximity also collected gold for its "Virginity Map" microsite to promote TVNZ's television series Go Girls and Colenso BBDO received a Bronze for its "Lost my Sock" campaign for Fisher & Paykel.
