See Your Councillors Online

The community can now get a closer look at its elected representatives thanks to video profiles of NPDC’s Mayor and Councillors.

The short clips on the NPDC website see Councillors and the Mayor discussing their backgrounds, professional lives and roles on the Council.

“For many people, awareness of their elected Council and Mayor is limited to what they read in the paper or hear on the radio,” says Manager Communications Nick Maybury.

“We’ve produced these profiles to give people a better idea of who is representing them.

“Along with live and recorded video of Council meetings, these profiles are a low-cost way of providing the public with easy access to the Council and its representatives without the need to attend meetings.”
