New Kiwi's offered a chance to make new friends

If you are new to Hastings, here is an opportunity to make new friends.

‘New Kiwi’ is a social networking group which is open to anyone who has moved to the Hastings District in recent times.

Group spokesperson Diana Arnold says "the aim of ‘New Kiwi’ is to help migrants meet others who have arrived here - particularly those who are interested in extending their circle of friends.

“Talking to others who have moved to the region recently, can help with job hunting and they may be able to offer advice on how to smooth your transition into a new life in Hastings”.

‘New Kiwi’ meets every two weeks at the Opera Kitchen café, 312 Eastbourne Street, Hastings, next to the Hawkes Bay Opera House.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday May 3rd from noon
