Endance launches new range of 100 percent accurate real time monitoring sensors
Endace (LSE: EDA), world leaders in high-speed network monitoring and recording, today announced the launch of the EndaceSensor™, a new range of 100 percent accurate real-time monitoring systems that enable organisations to extend their network monitoring and recording fabrics further out into their networks.
A 100 percent accurate monitoring and recording fabric is an essential feature of every critical high-speed network. By deploying a comprehensive fabric from the edge to the core of the network, organisations can begin to actively manage the business risks associated with non-compliance and the potential damage to brand reputations through network downtime, data loss and network security breaches.
“EndaceSensors are an important extension to our monitoring and recording system portfolio,” said Neil Livingston, Chief Product Officer at Endace. “In order to get deep visibility into their networks in their remote sites our customers have asked us for solid-state systems they can deploy quickly and easily, but which still guarantee to capture and analyse 100 percent of the traffic. The EndaceSensor is our response and initial feedback to the range has been extremely positive.”
Like all Endace Systems, EndaceSensors are based on Endace’s proprietary DAG technology which guarantees continuous 100 percent packet capture at very high speeds. Like EndaceProbes™, EndaceSensors leverage the power of Endace’s Operating System for Monitoring (OSm), which enables them to be centrally managed as part of an integrated monitoring and recording fabric.
Three different EndaceSensors are being launched:
· Series 100 EndaceSensor (4x1GbE monitoring ports / 500Mb/s throughput)
· Series 300 EndaceSensor (8x1GbE monitoring ports / 5Gb/s throughput)
· Series 3000 EndaceSensor (4x10GbE monitoring ports / 10Gb/s throughput)
EndaceSensors are generally available immediately and start at $20,000
About Endace
Endace provides open network monitoring and recording systems that form the basis for mission critical network security, monitoring and measurement solutions. Endace Systems are designed to be deployed from the edge to the core of the network, creating a complete monitoring and recording fabric on top of which a range of custom, open-source or commercial applications can be deployed.
One hundred percent packet capture is now widely accepted as a non-negotiable input to applications that are being used to help organisations manage risk, reputation and compliance. Based on proprietary DAG technology, Endace’s systems have a global reputation for consistently monitoring and recording 100-percent of network traffic at speeds up to 40Gb/s.
Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Endace also has offices in the U.K. and the United States. Quoted on London's AIM, the stock code is LSE: EDA. For more information visit www.endace.com
