The Remuneration Authority has revised pay rates for Hamilton City Council’s elected members.

The Authority is an independent Government agency charged with setting remuneration for elected representatives at Councils around the country.

The process is independent of Council.

The remuneration pool for Councillors has been increased from $882,110 to $883,575.

The mayoral salary has increased from $139,300 to $144,100
