Online shopping resource Lasoo.co.nz has launched its daily-deal aggregator, making it easy to find the best deals without clogging your inbox.

The Daily Deal is a tool that sifts through all the sites offering daily specials giving the user a comprehensive view of what is on offer on any given day.

The service allows Kiwi shoppers to reduce unwanted notifications further by offering customisable filters, giving consumers the ability refine notification criteria by region, product category and price range.

“The market for daily deal websites has become crowded and shoppers shouldn’t have to sign up to multiple e-newsletters and get spammed with products they’re not interested in,” say David Nation, Lasoo’s Sales and Marketing Manager.

“Daily Deal uses a combination of postal codes and geography to ensure that users get region specific offers. With a range of sites to select from, users can choose to be updated on anything from shopping specials to cheap flights.”

Earlier this week, Lasoo added Android and Windows Phone 7 to its stable of mobile applications, following an analyst’s prediction that the two platforms will overtake Symbian and iOS as the dominant platforms by 2015.

“Mobile technology, social media and the adoption of debit cards is said to be driving the increase in online consumer spending,” says David Nation.

“We aim to harness new technology to improve the delivery of online shopping services, saving consumers time and money, and are constantly evolving to match the changing shopping habits of Kiwi consumers.”

The mobile applications also bring the functionality of Lasoo’s website to the user’s mobile device and seamlessly integrates GPS to show the nearest retail store, complete with a map, contact details and opening hours.
