Gluten free doesn’t have to mean flavour free.

Loaf Handcrafted Breads’ delicious range of gluten free baked goods is made from a blend of fine ingredients that don’t compromise on flavour.

And with Coeliac Awareness Week starting on May 21, there is no better time to try out these scrumptious treats and taste the difference.

With five classic varieties, Loaf’s gluten free range includes a selection of slices, loaves and breads.

In the gluten free range you will find:

Rocky Road - classic and old fashioned are the only words to describe Loaf’s Rocky Road - perfectly toasted nuts, soft marshmallows and chewy fruit jubes mixed with loads of chocolate for the most sensational of indulgences.

White Velvet – a new take on an alternative to the dark chocolate of rocky road, with rich and luscious white chocolate cocooning all sorts of delectable treats inside.

Banana, Walnut and Poppy Seed – a classic banana and walnut loaf with poppy seeds. Made with Loaf’s special blend of gluten free flours.

Spicy Carrot - tender and moist, perfect for an afternoon treat and made with Loaf’s own blend of gluten free flours

Seeded Loaf – the ideal gluten free bread; light with the goodness of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and linseeds.

Loaf Handcrafted Breads are available from Nosh Food Markets, Farro Fresh, selected New World supermarkets and other speciality stores around the country. Loaf’s range of sweet treats is available in Vetro, Hamilton and Moore Wilson’s in Wellington.

About Loaf

Loaf is the brainchild of celebrity chef Sean Armstrong. His vision of producing high quality artisan breads and baked goods led to the opening of Loaf bakery in 2004.

As the executive chef and owner of one of Auckland’s leading restaurants, Prime Bistro, Sean became increasingly frustrated with the city’s lackluster bread offering. Despite extensive trial and investigation, he could not find a consistent supply of quality baked goods. There was a distinct gap in the market and this provided Sean with a new and exciting opportunity.

Loaf’s mission statement: to produce the highest quality, artesan breads for the Auckland restaurant scene and beyond.
