Summit Road closure during rock blasting

Summit Road either side of Evans Pass Road will be closed for approximately 30 minutes this afternoon (Tuesday, 10 May) while blasting is carried out to remediate unstable rock.

There will be no access to Godley Head or to Sumner via Summit Road during this time.

Evans Pass Road between Sumner and Summit Road continues to be closed to vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians between 8am and 6pm. There is no access to Sumner via Summit Road. The road will be closed until at least 11 May.

The end date for the work is subject to change.
