Greens welcome appointment of Roger Sutton to CERA

The Green Party today welcomed the appointment of Roger Sutton as the Chief Executive of the Christchurch Earthquake Recovery Authority.

“Roger understands the issues that face Christchurch at this time and has a proven track record as Chief Executive of Orion Networks,” said Green Party earthquake recovery spokesperson Kennedy Graham.

“The Green Party has been working hard to promote a sustainable rebuild of Christchurch that provides for the residents affected to have their say.

“I am confident that Roger will maintain a consultative approach and listen to the people of Christchurch as he carries out this important role. We look forward to working with him.”
