Today Logitech, New Zealand (SIX: LOGN) (NASDAQ: LOGI) announced the long awaited release of the Logitech® diNovo Mini™- a mini keyboard designed for people who have attached a PC to a TV, providing total control of PC entertainment from the sofa.

Optimizing access and control of the most popular digital entertainment platforms, including Microsoft® Windows Media® Center, the highly compact, rechargeable diNovo Mini features Bluetooth® wireless technology and backlighting and an innovative dual-purpose ClickPad.

“Digital-entertainment enthusiasts want a solution that simplifies their living room,” says Bryan Simpson, General Manager, Logitech New Zealand. “The diNovo Mini is a great solution for those people because it’s designed especially for living-room PCs. People can lean back on their couch while they channel surf, type instant messages to their friends, or control digital music stored on their PC and play it through their stereo system.”

The Logitech® diNovo Mini keyboard also introduces an innovative, dual-purpose ClickPad. The round, thumb-sized ClickPad can be used to point, scroll and click, making navigation an ease. The ClickPad features two-backlight mode; when in touch-pad mode, the ClickPad is backlighted in orange, and when in media-remote mode, the ClickPad’s directional buttons are backlighted in green. The keyboard keys, however, are always backlighted in orange making text entry effortless, even in low light.

Also featured on the diNovo Mini keyboard are dedicated hotkeys for media players, as well as a row of media controls that allow you to adjust the volume and easily play, pause, stop, fast forward and rewind.

Logitech’s newest mini keyboard offers rechargeable Li-ion batteries that last up to one month between charges saving you time and money by eliminating the hassle of replacing batteries.
