Len Brown is heading to New Lynn for his next Mayor in the Chair session on Friday (17 June).

The Mayor hopes locals will pull up a chair for chat any time between 12 noon and 1pm, in Memorial Square, outside the New Lynn Public Library. (In the case of wet weather, Mayor in the Chair will happen inside the library.)

Mayor in the Chair allows people to get face to face with their mayor.

“I’m looking forward to getting back out to New Lynn,” says Len Brown. “I’ve had a good look at the transport interchange, and know the shared space in Totara Ave is underway. It will be great to talk to locals out there about how the area is shaping up.”

Mayor in the Chair sessions are held regularly in different locations throughout Auckland, around lunchtime.

People are welcome to drop by, wait their turn, then take a seat with Len Brown and share their hopes, dreams and concerns about their community.

The Mayor will be in Memorial Square, outside the New Lynn Public Library, from noon. If wet, the Mayor in the Chair will be held inside the library.
