The school holidays are almost here again and Hutt City Council has a range of exciting activities to keep children happy and occupied during the break.

The Hutt City Holiday Programme includes everything from a pirate treasure hunt to a roller disco, arts and crafts to sports – there really is something for everyone.

The programme runs from Monday 18 to Friday 29 July and activities are based at four venues across Lower Hutt: Gracefield School, Belmont Memorial Hall, Hutt Recreation Ground and a multisport programme at Walter Nash Stadium.

All programmes cater for children aged 5 to 13 years old and run from 9am to 3.30pm, with extra morning and afternoon care available.

Costs vary depending on the activities selected and the length of care required.

All activities are OSCAR accredited and customers may be eligible for a WINZ Childcare and Oscar Subsidy. Please contact WINZ on 0800 559 009 for further information.

For programme details pick up a holiday booklet from your local pool, library or other council facility or download the brochure.

In addition to the holiday programmes there are also some great activities to enjoy at Hutt City pools, libraries and The Dowse during the July school holidays.
