Today’s launch of talknewplymouth.com marks the first steps in public consultation for the Council’s next 10-year plan.

The site comprises four forums for the community to share their thoughts on the future of the district. Users can join conversations about council services, rates and charges, future influences and new ideas.

Chief Executive Barbara McKerrow says: “If you’re passionate about the future of our district and want your opinions heard by the Council then talknewplymouth.com is a great channel to use. We want as much community input as possible so please visit the site today and get involved.”

Feedback gathered through talknewplymouth.com and other public consultation methods will be considered by the Council in its preparation of the 2012-2022 Long Term Plan, which will come into force a year from today.
