Refuse And Recycling Collection Day Changes

Changes to household refuse and recycling collection days are now in place. If your collection day changed you would have received a flyer in your letter box telling you of the change. The map shows collection days for Blenheim areas. If you are not clear about what day your refuse will be collected, call Council’s Customer Services, Ph: 520 7400 or check Council’s website www.marlborough.govt.nz/Services/Refuse/Kerbside-Rubbish-Collection.aspx

Please put bags at the back of the kerb and channel, not against the boundary fence at the back of the footpath as leaving bags against the boundary fence makes it more difficult for the collector to pick them up.

Last week the collector picked up bags in locations where people had put the bag out on the “old” day. A flyer was left advising of the correct day. Collectors will not be able to do that this week.
