Mayor in the Chair in Kohimarama

Len Brown is heading to Eastridge Shopping Centre for his next Mayor in the Chair session, on Friday 29 July.

The Mayor hopes locals from Kohimarama and nearby suburbs will pull up a chair for a chat any time between 12 noon and 1pm.

Mayor in the Chair allows people to have a quick one-on-one chat with their mayor.

“I get all around Auckland doing these, and it is great to talk about the things going on out there. It’s important to me that I hear about issues in different areas straight from the people who live there,” says Len Brown.

Mayor in the Chair sessions are held regularly in different locations throughout Auckland, around lunchtime.

People are welcome to drop by, wait their turn, then take a seat with Len Brown and share their hopes, dreams and concerns about their community.

Eastridge Shopping Centre is at 215 Kepa Rd, Mission Bay. The Mayor will be located near the Pandora entrance to the centre.
