Picture this, a panel made up of property managers and developers listening to artists talking about what they would like to do with vacant space.

Then the reverse - developers pitching to artists on the same subject. If you want to see this spectacle, in true 'Dragon's Den' style, then come along to the Illott Theatre at the Town Hall on Friday evening (29 July). There, you can hear some inspirational ideas on how to make the most of the capital's vacant offices and retail space.

Hosted by Letting Space - a programme set up a few years ago to encourage creative use of empty spaces - this session will also inform part of our Toward 2040: A Smart Green Wellington public consultation. The consultation explores what Wellingtonians want the city to be like by 2040. Further details on the consultation can be found at:
