The “New to New Zealand” workshops are free of charge and held in the Hastings library (first floor) on the first Tuesday of every month.

This next workshop focuses on starting your own business. Traditionally many Kiwi’s and many newcomers have their own business and New Zealand is a good environment for small businesses. Especially in this period of recession and difficulty to find employment, it may just be a good idea to create your own work!

Join Ron Massey from the Napier City Council who will discuss the A-Z of starting your own business in New Zealand.

  • Steps to starting your own business
  • Things to consider and what to do to make sure it’s successful
  • Trouble shooting tips
  • Refreshments provided and a chance to meet other newcomers to New Zealand

Where: Hastings Library, first floor
Time: 6.00 pm - 7.30 pm
