i-SITE New Zealand is inviting tourism operators to get involved in a new marketing campaign titled 'The Question' and timed for Rugby World Cup 2011.

The new campaign will target visitors with questions that prompt them to consider what sort of information and experience they are looking for. For example the question 'Are you a thrill seeker?' will target visitors looking for an activity that provides an adrenalin rush. They will then be guided to the i-SITE network or i-SITE website for more information and to book.

i-SITE Executive Manager Paul Yeo said the campaign aims to position i-SITES as New Zealand's official visitor information network and increase the amount visitors spend during their stay.

"The campaign will not only get visitors thinking about what they're looking for during their visit, but will also position i-SITEs as a helpdesk for RWC 2011.

"This will drive more traffic to the i-SITE network and result in greater spend."

The campaign will run from 15 August to 31 October and will be promoted via the internet, social media, Rugby World Cup 2011 publications, billboards, AA and Jasons travel guides and in 'The Cloud' on Auckland's Queens Wharf.

Operators wishing to get involved and offer a deal for consumers should contact their local i-SITE Manager.
