Free online training for Rugby World Cup 2011 is now available for customer-facing organisations such as hotels greeting visitors.

First Impressions training gives New Zealand's frontline organisations the chance to upskill for the Tournament and deliver an exceptional welcome to international guests.

The free training programme is now live and takes a maximum of two hours to complete, but can be done in fifteen minute blocks. Training modules cover how the Tournament works, customer service excellence, visitor expectations, the cultures and languages of the visiting teams and fans, and information on the REAL New Zealand Festival and Showcase which run alongside the Tournament. The programme is based on the orientation training module developed for the official RWC Volunteer workforce 'Team 2011'.

Once the training is successfully completed, all participants will be offered a certificate and 'Team 2011' badge, to identify them as part of the official RWC 2011 workforce. People are encouraged to take the training before 30 August to ensure they receive their badges before the Tournament kicks off.
