Marlborough RSA's Collection Of Military Memorabilia

Community trustees have been charged with ensuring the preservation of the Marlborough RSA's collection of military memorabilia. 

Mayor Alistair Sowman, along with Marlborough police commander Inspector Steve Caldwell and Base Woodbourne commanding officer operational support wing, Sara Woodhouse, signed the new trust deed with RSA president Geoff Stobie at the RSA last week.

Mr Sowman says the Marlborough RSA has a very special collection of material and it is important to ensure its protection whatever the long-term future of the local association.

RSA members John Forrest and Trevor Slipper are the other trustees.
