'Survive the Big Shake' Talks
Are you doing all you can to make sure you and your family gets through a major earthquake? To find out, head down to the Central Library over the next few weeks for a series of free lunchtime talks on Surviving the Big Shake.
We are running these sessions as part of our ongoing efforts to help Wellingtonians do everything they can to prepare for emergencies. The hour-long talks start at 12 noon and there will be time for questions.
Thursday 18 August - How long till the water's back on? Capacity Infrastructure Services Chief Executive David Hill will explain what's likely to happen to our water services if there is a large earthquake.
