Len Brown is heading to Ponsonby for his next Mayor in the Chair session on Tuesday 30 August.

The Mayor hopes locals will pull up a chair for a brief one to one chat any time between 12 noon and 1pm, at the Leys Institute Library.

Mayor in the Chair allows people to get face to face with their mayor. People are welcome to drop by, take a number, wait their turn, then take a seat with Len Brown and share their hopes, dreams and concerns about their community.

“I’ve been to the far corners of Auckland with these events, and it will be great to get back in to the central area,” says Len Brown. “It’s important to me to hear about Aucklanders’ experiences and issues in their own words. Some people drop by just to say hi or to tell me what they love about their part of Auckland, others bring concerns they want me to know about.”

Mayor in the Chair sessions are held regularly in different locations throughout Auckland, around lunchtime. Recent locations have included Te Atatu Peninsula, Kohimarama, Manurewa and Warkworth.

The Mayor will be in the Leys Institute Library, 20 St Mary’s Rd, Ponsonby, for an hour from noon.
