Recycle, and Win Free Rugby!
A double season pass for 2012 and a Taranaki jersey are up for grabs at this Sunday’s Ranfurly Shield defence – and all that rugby fans have to do is recycle.
Up to 20 people who are seen using the Love NZ recycling bins at Yarrow Stadium during Sunday’s game will go in the draw for the prize, says Manager Venues and Rugby World Cup Jenny Mills.
“We’ll photograph up to 20 people who recycle at the stadium and those photos will be displayed on the big screen at half time – and one of them will win the rugby jersey and double season pass to next year’s ITM Cup games at the stadium,” she says.
“It’s a fantastic prize, and all that people have to do to enter is use the recycling stations.”
The promotion is part of an effort by NPDC to encourage the community to leave public spaces as clean or cleaner as when they arrived – including after major events, such as the ITM Cup and Rugby World Cup 2011.
This Sunday’s 4.35pm game between Taranaki and Hawke’s Bay is the final round-robin game in the nationwide ITM Cup.
