Small businesses stand to make big cost savings thanks to a simple all-in-one landline, calling and broadband package launched today by Vodafone.

Easy Office is a simple way for small and medium sized businesses to manage their costs, says Vodafone general manager of business marketing Becky Lloyd.

“Through Easy Office, small businesses can access the latest technology to make big savings on their monthly communications bill, without having to pay for expensive equipment or a complicated set up.”

Easy Office, a VoIP (voice-over internet protocol) solution, offers small businesses two calling lines with all national calls to landline numbers and mobile calls to Vodafone mobiles included, one dedicated service line (suitable for EFTPOS, fax or a monitored alarm), as well as 15 GB broadband for just $149 a month. For an extra $25 a month customers can add all calls to other mobiles.

In a trial before launch, 12 businesses gave Easy Office the thumbs up, says Lloyd.

Jianni Koutsos, owner of iBike, says Easy Office has not only saved his business a substantial amount of money, it's made his work life easier.

“I've been sold on the concept of VoIP for a long time, but previous products I've trialled haven't been reliable. Easy Office is backed by Vodafone's fantastic service, which gives me peace of mind.

“I made so many calls and my end of month bills were pricy but now I’m saving a lot because all calls to Vodafone mobiles and landlines are included. But, it's not just about cost savings. The product is good – and reliable. We can simply transfer calls from point-of-sale to our workshop, and use the fast broadband to showcase the latest and greatest cycling products and news to our clients – right on our shop floor using an iPad.”

About VoIP
VoIP is a reliable, cost effective alternative to a traditional landline. VoIP works by converting phone calls into a digital signal so it can be sent via the Internet rather than a landline.
