Removal of Waitara River Rocks Tomorrow

Four large rocks will be removed from the Waitara rivermouth tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon by using explosives.

Road closures will be in place on both sides of the river to keep the public away during this work.

The removal was postponed from Monday 5 September due to poor river and sea conditions.
