Road closure for Petone Carnival

Part of the Esplanade will be closed on Saturday.

The Esplanade from Victoria Street to Cuba Street, west bound lane will be closed on Saturday, 10 September 2011 between 7am and 11pm.

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit, to enter or attempt to enter, be present on, or use a vehicle on the above road or any part thereof, during the time of the road closure.

This temporary closure is in accordance with Section 342 and Clause 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule to the Local Government 1974 Act
