Fifteen lucky people have coffee to thank after each walking away with a brand new 50” Panasonic Plasma TV won as part of the recent Nescafe Game On promotion.

Gilmour’s winner, Ricky Bowen, said he was a “happy man” when he found out he had won a brand new plasma screen with the timing proving to be ideal for the rugby season.

“I was stoked with the win. My new plasma is already being put to good use in the lounge at home,” he said.

Despite never having tasted coffee before, Ricky won the plasma for his impressive display of Nescafé coffee in Gilmour’s Rotorua store.

“My in store display attracted a lot of attention, although I’ve got to admit I’ve never touched a hot drink in my life.”

School nurse, Jane Dagger from Queen Margaret College in Wellington said she was ecstatic she had finally won something.

“Up until now I’ve never won anything in my life,” she said.

Jane said the TV was being put to good use in the school’s boardroom.

“It’s being used effectively for the benefit of staff training and presentations,” she said.

Coffee lover, Ann Joines from Parkwood Retirement Village on the Kapiti Coast described her win as “fabulous.”

Ann said the prize was well suited to the Village because they are all big fans of coffee.

“We all drink Nescafé - perhaps a bit too much,” she said.

To enter the Nescafé Game On promotion, customers had to purchase any Nescafé 375g, 500g or 1kg tin to go into a draw to win 1 of 15 Plasmas.

Each Panasonic Viera Plasma Television is worth $1,399.99.
