Ngaio Marsh – For One Night Only At The Aurora Centre
A one night only screening of the acclaimed NZ film, “Ngaio Marsh – Crime Queen” is to be held later this month to raise funds for the new Court Theatre, The Shed, in Addington, opening in December.
Film maker, Aileen O’Sullivan says the evening event called Ngaio On The Quake Case, celebrates the life of one of Christchurch’s most internationally renowned and acclaimed citizens.
“Dame Ngaio loved her city and she loved the theatre; this is her night to help out,” she says.
Aileen says the evening will introduce the film makers (including actor Peter Elliott) to the audience after the screening.
“It will be relaxed and enjoyable, and a great opportunity for the audience to see the film on the big screen and meet the film makers like actor and former Court Company member Peter Elliott.
