England fans celebrate their victory against Georgia on Sunday Credit: Rugby World Cup 2011
Sunday saw three closely contested encounters with some hard fought victories. Wales came from behind to defeat Samoa 17-10 in Pool D, whilst England ran out 41-10 winners against Georgia and a strong Canada side eventually went down 46-19 against France.

Throughout the tournament we will be providing a regular Fan Forum which will include some of your comments from the official Rugby World Cup Twitter account, @rugbyworldcup, and #rwc2011, and here is a selection of your thoughts after today's matches:

@SportsFanAttic: Congrats to Wales on a very important win. 17-10 winners over Samoa.
@WilliamFussey: Massive defence from Wales. Massive. Titanic tussles galore.
@Bryn Morgan: This is a hardcore rugby session. On my third cup of tea...
@Carwyn Evans: I'm sure this game is a great watch for the neutrals, but it's way too tense for me. Samoa look so much more dangerous on the ball
@RaymondManookian: Cracking game. Georgians are a good team worthy of changing the 6 nations to 7 nations
@pblakez: Georgia Georgia Georgia I love you, this is the best RWC ever!
@CDrosdzowski: It's nice to see Chris Ashton score a try. He's such a good boy. Make this a big win now, England.
@ahmadnz: I have loved the sportsmanship at RWC 2011 The mutual respect shown by teams after the battles has been really heart-warming
@shelliemcevoy: Was in Napier a week ago as town gearing up for Rugby World Cup it was buzzing then, must be exploding with excitement today!
@Kiwi_KateClarke: Well done Rugby World Cup this online commentary is amazing
@adam_weavers: That's unlucky for Canada! Don't deserve to be behind! They have played very well today!
@Cam Usmar: I remember why i love this game
@Brid Enright: Canada are really putting it to the French, they won't win but they can be v proud of their performance
@Max_Johnithan: Canada had an amazing effort but France had some deadly tries.
