Serepisos meets with FFA

Wellington Phoenix chairman Terry Serepisos met with Football Federation Australia representatives in Sydney today regarding the club’s ownership.

Discussions between Mr Serepisos and the FFA are ongoing with both parties continuing to work toward a positive outcome for the Football Club.

In recent weeks there had been widespread speculation that a definitive deadline of Monday September 19 had been set to determine the future of the Wellington Phoenix. That was not the case.

Football Federation Australia and Mr Serepisos will continue discussions in the next few days and will make an announcement concerning the ownership of the club in due course.

Until that time the club will continue to operate in its current capacity.
