Launch Of Canterbury Employers Survey - Information Required To Help Canterbury Planning
Canterbury employers are being asked to provide information that will contribute to planning for the future of business in the region.
Up to 2000 employers are being surveyed in October about the impact of the earthquakes, how businesses have responded, what challenges they faced, and which support services worked for them.
The survey is being conducted for the Department of Labour by Christchurch research firm Research First. Employers can expect to be contacted from the end of September through to the end of October.
Good information on the impact of the earthquakes on Canterbury businesses is needed to help plan for the future.
The Department has worked with the Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and other groups to plan this survey, which will be the most comprehensive information-gathering to date.
A good response from employers is important, because the results will help Government and local organisations identify further ways of assisting businesses in the region.
