Positive Ageing - Mobility Scooter Safety Seminar
A free seminar for existing and intending users of mobility scooters is being held in mid-November and registrations are invited now.
The seminar is being arranged by the Marlborough Road Safety Council, Grey Power and MS Marlborough.
It will run from 10.00 am-2.00 pm on Thursday 17 November at St Christopher’s Hall in Redwoodtown.
The seminar will cover
- options for buying a scooter (eg; through a disability allowance)
- how to find the right scooter
- safety and laws about using scooters
- maintenance and repair know-how for all skill levels
- information about insurance.
