Whatever the weather, it's going to be a dry summer

Wellington region’s water storage lakes are due for earthquake strengthening and upsizing.  What it means, is that for the next two summers we’ll have one lake empty while the work is being carried out.

This will affect everyone in Porirua, Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt and Wellington, but if we all take measures to use a little bit less water,it should see us through.
