Come along to the Belmont Spring Festival on Saturday 29 October set amongst the beautiful rhododendrons and azaleas at Belmont Domain.

The festival is timed to make the most of the stunning floral backdrop while bringing the community together to celebrate spring and the warmer weather.

From 11am to 3pm there will be a great line-up of live performances including the popular African drumming group, Jambo Jambo, alongside plenty of community displays and activities for all ages, stalls, fabulous food and more.

The festival is organised by Hutt City Council and local community groups and Judy Robb from council’s parks and gardens team says it’s a great partnership.

“Local community groups have been very supportive of the festival and this year’s event is set to be the biggest yet.

“The always popular tree climbing activity is back again and the live music and dance performances always go down a treat with the crowd.”

You’ll find Belmont Domain just off SH2 north of the Kennedy-Good Bridge in Lower Hutt.

Belmont Domain also features free electric barbecues, tennis courts and a children’s playground. Parking is available off Carter Street.
